RecNeon is a local screen-recording tool for Android.
We respect your privacy and designed the app so that none of your data ever
leaves your device.
Data the app works with
Screen video — recorded only after your explicit confirmation
(Android's system screen-capture dialog) and stored solely on your device, in the
Movies/ScreenRecorder folder.
Microphone audio — used only if you enable the “Microphone”
option; it is recorded and saved locally together with the video.
System sound — only when the corresponding option is enabled;
also saved locally.
Permissions and why they are needed
Screen capture — each session requires your confirmation via
the Android system dialog; recording is impossible without it.
Microphone — requested only when you turn on microphone
recording, and only while recording.
Notifications — to show the recording status and the stop
button.
Background operation — while recording, the app runs as a
foreground service so that recording is not interrupted when the screen is in the
background; the service stops together with the recording.
All permissions serve the app's only purpose — screen recording
Data sharing
The app does not collect, store, or share any data with servers
or third parties. There is no analytics, no ads, no trackers, and no network
requests. The app does not require an internet connection to work.
Storage and deletion
All recordings remain on your device and are available to you through the built-in
recordings list or any file manager. You can delete them at any time yourself — the
app keeps no copies anywhere else.
Children
The app is not intended to collect any data from children: it does not collect
personal data at all.

If the app's features change, we will update this page and state the new effective
date.
